Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner The post-master’s certificate in acute pediatric care nurse practitioner (ACPNP) focuses on restorative care that is characterized by rapidly changing clinical conditions. The acute pediatric care nurse practitioner provides care for patients with unstable chronic, complex acute, and critical conditions most times in an acute care facility.We offer four specialty areas in this program: Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Primary Care, and Women’s Health/Gender-Related Studies. *Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Neonatal, and Pediatric Acute Care REQUIRE a minimum of one to two years of RN experience to be eligible for program admission.Nurse-Midwifery.
